Karin wants to give as many riders as possible the tools to optimally train their horses, keeping them healthy and injury-free in both basic and elite sport. The rider plays a crucial role in this. Whoever trains the horse has the most important tool at their disposal: proper training. No therapy can match that. A healthy horse is essential for participating in sport. Horse-friendly training and performance are absolutely compatible.

In this book, Karin Leibbrandt describes step-by-step the horse training system she developed: 4-Dimensional Dressage. She provides tools for training a horse in "the four dimensions" and thus learning to walk in balance in a pure way. Once a horse can truly walk in balance on its own legs, its body becomes strong and fit from the training. Then it can perform optimally in all disciplines with ease and enjoyment.

Karin Leibbrandt (born 1974) is a veterinarian specializing in equine rehabilitation and training. About fifteen years ago, as a "regular veterinarian," she encountered lameness, neck, back, and pelvic problems that weren't being resolved with lasting results by existing treatments—even now. She set out to find the cause: the crux lies in the horse's training. If even just one thing isn't quite right in its balance, posture, and movement pattern, it has consequences for the horse's health. From topline problems to lameness.
